KUNSTINITIATIEF ANTIDOTE

is an interdisciplinary arts initiative that experiments with creative self-organization and practices of solidarity within the performing arts.

It arose from a shared desire to find an antidote to competitive and capitalist structures in the performative arts. Antidote functions as a laboratory for collective and reciprocal practices through the creation of festivals, performances, parties and other events through which we bring art and audience together in unexpected ways. In each Antidote project, we work together as a temporary collective in various assemblies. With a DIY/DIT attitude, we are dedicated to a continuous research into a more transparent, collaborative and solidary arts praxis. 

Stichting Kunstinitiatief Antidote’s founders and board members are Bibi Scholten van Aschat, Doke Pauwels & Koen Bartijn. The seats on Antidote’s supervisory board are held by Bernadette Stokvis, Susanne Visser and Elowise Vandenbroecke.
