ANTIDOTE FESTIVAL-
THE PAPER EDITION

Antidote Festival - The Paper Edition is an adventure per mail. This festival-on-paper contains six performances that together form a hike on the Dutch Mountain.

In the Dutch landscape a mountain is an illusion, a dream image, an oxymoron. The idea of a self-built mountain in the middle of this flat country got us fantasizing wildly about creating new futures and new communities. Together with artists from the fields of dance, theater, performance and social art we decided to build and inhabit such a place for new ideas. You are invited to come up.

The six paper performances guide a journey uphill. Roadmap in hand, you find your way past three paper stages: Mapping & Packing; Sore Feet and Vistas.

BARE TIME 2019

Bare Time is the story of three performers spending six hours in a gallery. The daily activities of warming up, dancing and resting are performed within the space. Looped, these activities succumb to a choreographed pattern in which nothing new enters. At the same time, the stage in which they're performed provides the potential for micro events to influence the flow, emancipating the routine. There is a search for a common time, constructed within a fight for the partition of times.

Concept: Koen Bartijn
Performers: Elisa Zuppini, Doke Pauwels, Koen Bartijn
Flyer: Julia Mira
Photography: Inez Agese

Bare Time (2019) was part of the group expo Ampersands in W139.
